Irving Institute Announces New Faculty Advisory Board

The Irving Institute is pleased to introduce our new Faculty Advisory Board. Comprising a cross-campus, multi-disciplinary group of Dartmouth faculty, the Board will advise Institute and College leadership on a range of strategic priorities including increasing faculty engagement with the Institute; supporting and growing faculty scholarship and teaching; and enhancing grant and funding opportunities for Dartmouth scholars as well engaging external experts in energy and climate work at Dartmouth.

"We're thrilled to have the breadth and depth of expertise that these faculty members bring in support of Dartmouth's high-impact energy and climate work," said April Salas, Institute Interim Executive Director and co-chair of the Faculty Advisory Board.

Dartmouth Vice Provost for Academic Initiatives Barbara Will co-chairs the Board with Salas. Irving Institute Academic Director Amanda Graham and Irving Institute Advisory Board Chair Scott Fisher '93, TH'93, TU'98, serve as ex-officio members of the Board.

The Board had its first meeting in early September and will convene regularly in its advisory capacity. Members are appointed for a two-year term with the possibility of a two-year renewal.
