The Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society engages the Dartmouth community in helping society transition to a future where energy systems are affordable, reliable, accessible, and sustainable. We connect students, alumni, faculty, and staff with each other and with members of regional and global communities across all sectors and diverse forms of knowledge. We integrate research, education, and engagement activities to maximize student learning and positive impact on the world's energy systems and the people who rely on them.
