Energy Justice (ANTH 50.48, GEOG 40.04) Gain a deep understanding of how culture, power, and inequity shape the global shift away from fossil fuel-based energy systems and learn how to contribute to more just and inclusive energy solutions.

TuckLAB: Energy is a weeklong intensive held during winterim, which focuses on energy, business, and society and equips students to foster sustainable energy transitions.
Electricity Grids and Markets Bootcamp is an immersive two-day workshop that offers students essential insights into the core components of the U.S. energy system, equipping you with a deeper understanding of how electricity markets operate and shape our energy future.
Clean Energy Finance Bootcamp is an immersive two-day workshop that gives students a comprehensive introduction to the financial aspects of the clean energy economy.
Student Grants are awarded each quarter to support a range of activities, including independent research, external unpaid internships, and professional development. Students may apply for as much as $6,000 to pursue opportunities aligned with the Irving Institute's mission.
The Energy Immersion Trip to Appalachia, co-sponsored by the Irving Institute and the Sustainability Office, is a ten-day experiential journey over spring break, where students explore the rich history and lasting legacy of coal extraction on the people, environment, and economy of West Virginia. Discover how the region is transitioning to lower-carbon energy sources.
