Amanda C. Graham

Director of Academic Programs

Amanda is the Director of Academic Programs for the Irving Institute for Energy and Society and Director of Dartmouth's Master of Energy Transition. She leads the Institute's energy transition education pillar and partners with students, faculty, staff, and alumni to inspire and equip students from all disciplines to advance more just and sustainable energy futures. Prior to Dartmouth, Amanda served as Executive Director of MIT's Environmental Solutions Initiative and Education Director for the MIT Energy Initiative. At MIT, she led the development of multidisciplinary curricula and co-curricula in energy, environment, and sustainability, and established the first five-school undergraduate minor (Energy Studies). Amanda published the first energy justice course on Coursera and was a founding member of the Committee on Energy, Equity, and Justice of the University Energy Institute Leadership Collaborative.
