Faculty and Research Affiliates

Connecting the Dartmouth Energy & Society Research Community

The Irving Institute invites Dartmouth faculty and researchers working on issues that advance our mission--to accelerate an affordable, reliable, and equitable clean energy transition for the benefit of society--to join our Faculty & Research Affiliates Program. Our research pillars include:

  1. Accelerating clean tech deployment, including overcoming policy or financial barriers to growth.
  2. Harnessing the power of data, AI, and machine learning to increase efficiencies and enable market formation.
  3. Centering health and equity in the clean energy transition.

The Faculty & Research Affiliate Program:

•    Enhances faculty networking and research across campus,
•    Encourages interdisciplinary collaborations,
•    Supports competitive research applications through a seed grant program, and
•    Amplifies the work of our affiliates through digital media, research symposia, conferences, and more.

As an affiliate, you will receive a monthly newsletter that includes funding opportunities and news about your fellow affiliates and inviations to on- and off-campus events to network or showcase your work. We also invite you to work with our communications team for help elevating your stories of success. Benefits are outlined here.

If you are interested in becoming an Irving Institute affiliate, please complete this form.
