Postdoctoral Research Fellowship - Geoff Parker's Project

The Institute invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Research Fellowship with the objective of developing solutions that harness data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and optimization methods to reduce the carbon intensity of industry.

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will collaborate with Geoffrey Parker, Faculty Director of the Irving Institute and Charles E. Hutchinson '68A Professor of Engineering, as well as other faculty members, including Vikrant Vaze, Stata Family Career Development Associate Professor of Engineering. The research fellow will be hosted at the Irving Institute and have access to Dartmouth's faculty, resources, and networks, allowing them to pursue novel research questions and contribute to the broader academic discourse on climate and energy.

Postdoctoral Fellowship in Energy Transitions

The Postdoctoral Fellowship in Energy Transitions provides support for (i) collaborative research at the Irving Institute for Energy and Society at Dartmouth and (ii) teaching a core course in Dartmouth's new Master of Energy Transition degree program (offered through Dartmouth's Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies).

The Fellow will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in translating research into action. The Fellow will be co-advised by Erin Mayfield, Hodgson Family Assistant Professor of Engineering at Dartmouth College, Klaus Keller, Hodgson Distinguished Professor of Engineering at Dartmouth College and Geoffrey Parker, Faculty Director of the Irving Institute. The Fellow will be hosted at the Irving Institute and have access to Dartmouth's faculty, resources, and networks, allowing them to pursue novel research questions and contribute to the broader academic discourse on energy and climate.
