Krishan Ariyasiri is a research scientist in the Department of Molecular and Systems Biology at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, specializing in molecular and developmental genetics using zebrafish models for the past 15 years. With a Ph.D. from Chungnam National University, South Korea, his work bridges neuroscience, behavior, and genetic engineering. At Dartmouth, Krishan works in the laboratory of Dr. Marnie Halpern, contributing to projects that elucidate the structure and function of the habenulo-interpeduncular pathway. In addition to his research, Krishan is committed to mentoring undergraduate and graduate trainees and actively participates in community outreach and international science education initiatives.
