"At its core, the Dartmouth Climate Collaborative is about empowering innovative, cross-disciplinary work that drives progress on climate and sustainability," said Meredith Kelly, Professor of Earth Sciences, and newly appointed Faculty Director of the Climate Collaborative. "It was an absolute honor to present this award to a colleague whose scholarship so clearly embodies those values. Dr. Sarah Kelly's dedication advances our understanding of environmental challenges and inspires our community to imagine and work toward a more sustainable future."

The Energy Justice Clinic, founded by Sarah in 2021 in partnership with Maron Greenleaf, Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology, advances an equitable energy transition by training students in ethical, policy-informed research and fostering community partnerships. "It's a real honor to receive this award. To confront the immense challenge of creating a just transition, we need to do this in meaningful collaboration across college campuses and communities. I feel grateful to be recognized for facilitating this form of learning and engagement." — Dr. Sarah Kelly
