Mansi Bellani is a Master's in Engineering Management (MEM) student at Dartmouth College from Uttarakhand, India. Inspired by the "Chipko Movement," a grassroots environmental effort to prevent deforestation, she has spent nearly a decade with the NGO "Live Green," focusing on reforestation and tribal community support. As an Irving Institute graduate fellow, she is eager to collaborate with peers and experts to explore sustainable solutions that balance energy needs with environmental preservation.
Cara Chang currently supports the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in fraud, waste, and abuse detection and is pursuing a Master's in Public Health at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice. She enjoys collaborating with organizations to solve problems through process and quality improvement, as well as strategic communication. Her goal is to leverage her passion for improving systems to help make healthcare more efficient and accessible for everyone.
Siddhi Gothivrekar is an advocate for cultural heritage awareness, global impact, and sustainability. With a background in Computer Science and Business Systems, and a minor in Data Science, she is currently pursuing a Master's in Engineering Management at Dartmouth. As an Irving Institute Energy Fellow, Siddhi leverages her technical and business skills to drive environmental change. She is dedicated to creating innovative solutions that foster sustainability while honoring diverse cultures, aiming to build a more inclusive and sustainable future for communities around the world.
Mansa Krishna is a PhD candidate in the Department of Earth Sciences at Dartmouth College, working with Professor Mathieu Morlighem. She holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics with a Specialization in Computing from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research focuses on applying machine learning to study ice sheet and glacier dynamics, aiming to improve understanding and quantify uncertainties in ice sheet models and sea level rise projections.

Jackson McLain, from Chattanooga, TN, is excited to join the IIGEF program. He is pursuing a Master of Engineering Management at Dartmouth, with plans to graduate in 2026. Jackson's passion for the outdoors, shaped by camping in the Great Smoky Mountains and exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains, has driven his commitment to environmental preservation. His semester at the University of Edinburgh further influenced his interests, particularly in green infrastructure. Jackson is eager to explore New England and its natural beauty while pursuing research on environmental justice, alternative energy, and the impact of environmental toxins.
Fernando Montano Lopez is a PhD student in the EEES program, working in the Hicks Pries Lab. His research focuses on understanding soil organic matter dynamics in the Arctic. He has a strong interest in soil carbon, decarbonization, energy transitions, and environmental policy. In his free time, Fernando enjoys hiking, cooking, and listening to Latin music.

Zachary Raposo holds a BSc in Environmental Earth and Soil Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and is pursuing a Master's in Engineering Management at Dartmouth. He spent four years at Althouse and Meade, Inc., developing stewardship strategies for solar facilities and using geospatial modeling for land management decisions. Zach is particularly interested in dual-use land management strategies like Agrivoltaics, which integrates agriculture with solar energy. As an Irving Institute Graduate Fellow, he aims to bridge policy, science, and economics to drive innovative climate solutions in renewable energy.
Matthew Ritterbusch is a Master of Engineering student at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth, focusing on energy. His primary interests include energy storage and grid modernization, and he aims to apply his engineering background to develop practical and cost-effective solutions in renewable energy generation and storage. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
MaryBeth Semosky is a first-year student in the hybrid Master of Public Health program at the Geisel School of Medicine, while working full-time on epidemiological research focused on environmental impacts on maternal and children's health. She holds a BS in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Maine, with a concentration in behavioral endocrinology, and an MS in Nonprofit Management from Johnson & Wales University, where her thesis explored cultural competence in international NGOs. MaryBeth looks forward to contributing to and learning from the IIGEF program, bringing a unique perspective to its interdisciplinary approach.
Marie Skoczlas is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist with Northstar Anesthesia and lives in Alexandria, Virginia where she and her husband are raising their two sons. She graduated from McDaniel College with a BA in Psychology, Virginia Commonwealth University with an MS in Nurse Anesthesia and a Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice degree, and is currently pursuing an MPH from Dartmouth through Geisel School of Medicine. Marie is passionate about equity in health care delivery, recruitment, and retention. Through the Irving Institute Graduate Energy Fellowship's multidisciplinary community, Marie hopes to address the healthcare sector's role in climate change by exploring equitable, sustainable, and creative solutions through a climate justice lens.

David J Tuck has 25 years of experience in finance, energy, healthcare, technology, and economic policy and has held corporate titles of CEO, CFO, and CTO, in various organizations in Europe, Latin America, and the United States. He holds several patents in healthcare, for surgical lasers, and in energy and climate, for methane (CH4) and carbon-dioxide (CO2) remediation. David's undergraduate field is in economics, with minors in finance and government, from Harvard University. He is currently pursuing graduate studies in Public Health at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth.
Biratal Wagle is a master's student in the QBS MS in Health Data Science program at Dartmouth, with a background in physics and computer science. His primary focus is developing software for biological research and generating data-driven insights to improve healthcare. Biratal is also eager to apply his data science skills to address climate-related challenges and looks forward to contributing to the IIGE Fellowship's efforts in this area.

Jannitta Yao (she/her) is a NSF Graduate Research Fellow and PhD student in the Earth Sciences department, working with Professor Brenhin Keller. Her research focuses on understanding the geochemical evolution of Earth's crust over time through a combination of computational geostatistics and the existing rock record. Prior to Dartmouth, Jannitta obtained a BA in Geosciences and Computer Science from Wellesley College.
