Dartmouth Rural Health and Energy Equity Advancement Lab (DR-HE2AL)

The Dartmouth Rural Health and Energy Equity Advancement Lab, or DR-HE₂AL, will marshal the resources of the growing global health and energy communities at Dartmouth and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center to respond to critical health and energy equity challenges. The first phase of DR-HE₂AL will identify opportunities where Dartmouth can have a transformative impact on health and energy equity issues in vulnerable rural communities in the US and abroad. We will map critical linkages between health and energy across our network of global and domestic institutional partnerships and identify where Dartmouth’s collective capacity can be brought to bear on these challenges. This project will lay the groundwork for a broader collaborative in health and energy.
