Rachael P. Thomeer

Events and Communications Coordinator

Rachael Thomeer (she/her) is the Events and Communications Coordinator for the Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society. She came to this role from the Geisel School of Medicine across campus where she worked in public health research. Rachael also has a professional background in political science and campaign management.
 
Outside of her work at Dartmouth, Rachael is involved in arts and community causes around the Upper Valley. She is the founder and executive producer of the Upper Valley 24-Hour Play Festival, the marketing and acquisitions chair for the Montshire Museum of Science annual gala, and a box office associate at Lebanon Opera House. Rachael is passionate about fostering community connections, particularly through events. She recently completed a 2.5-year term as the events and public relations chair of the Upper Valley Young Professionals.
 
In her free time, Rachael enjoys spending time outside and pursuing creative hobbies such as theater, sewing, and glassworking. She earned her BA at Skidmore College.
