Why I chose Dartmouth's MET program & how I intend to help accelerate the energy transition:
My decision to pursue the Master of Energy Transition (MET) at Dartmouth is driven by my experience in the construction, commissioning, and operation of an HFO-based power plant with a cogeneration system. Working on this project gave me a strong foundation in power generation and energy efficiency, while also revealing the urgent need for cleaner and more sustainable technologies in the industry.
The MET program's unique combination of engineering, management, and innovation perfectly aligns with my goal of bridging technical expertise with strategic leadership. Dartmouth's focus on systems optimization and sustainability will equip me to design and manage energy projects that improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
I aim to apply this knowledge to accelerate the energy transition by modernizing conventional power systems through cleaner fuels, waste heat recovery, and integration of renewable technologies. Through Dartmouth's MET program, I hope to develop as a leader who can drive practical, scalable solutions for a sustainable energy future.
