MET Inaugural Graduation Celebration

The Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society will hold a celebratory ceremony and reception to honor the achievements of Master of Energy Transition (MET) students.

Please note that the ceremony and reception are invitation-only. 

Friday, June 12, 4-6 pm

The program will include a ceremony from 4-5:30 pm, followed by a reception. The Irving Institute is located at 33 Tuck Mall on the Dartmouth College campus in Hanover, NH.

Each MET student is allotted two (2) tickets for their guests to attend in person. If students would like to invite more than two (2) guests, they may request additional seats on a waitlist. In late May, a lottery system will be used to provide a limited number of seats for some names on the waitlist. Please note that we cannot guarantee seating for those on the waitlist.

Hotels

We advise booking for your room as soon as possible. You can view a list of lodging options on the Dartmouth Commencement website.

Parking

Please allow ample time for parking as the campus can be quite congested on Commencement weekend. For parking information, visit the Parking & Shuttle page on the Dartmouth Commencement website.

There may be parking available in the Emily and Errik Anderson Parking Garage near the Irving Institute building. See the garage location and cost on the Transportation Services website.

There are a limited number of ADA accessible parking spots in front of the Irving building. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The MET Inaugural Graduation Celebration will be livestreamed. The livestream will begin at approximately 4 pm on Friday, June 12. Visit this page on the day of the event to access the livestream.

Please note that while the Irving Institute is the host of the MET Graduation Celebration event on Friday, June 12, the rest of the weekend's events are hosted separately. Visit the Dartmouth Commencement website for the full schedule and more information about events on Saturday and Sunday.
