Six Institute Affiliates Among 62 Recently Promoted Dartmouth Professors

Six Irving Institute Faculty Affiliates were among the 62 faculty members across Dartmouth who have recently been promoted. Faculty are evaluated in three areas—research, teaching, and service—through a rigorous evaluation process.

The Institute Affiliates who received promotions are:

  • William Leavitt, Department of Earth Sciences, promoted to associate professor
  • Marisa Palucis, Department of Earth Sciences, promoted to associate professor
  • Alberto Quattrini Li, Department of Computer Science, promoted to associate professor
  • Laura Paulin, promoted to Associate Professor of Medicine and of Epidemiology, Gesiel School of Medicine
  • Geoffroy Hautier, promoted to full professor, retaining the Hodgson Family Professorship, Thayer School of Engineering
  • Erin Mansur, the Revers Professor of Business Administration, was appointed senior associate dean for faculty and research. Mansur is also faculty director of the Revers Center for Energy, Sustainability, and Innovation.
