Angus McReynolds Joins Irving Institute Team

The Irving Institute for Energy and Society is excited to announce the addition of Angus McReynolds to our growing team. Angus, the Institute's Undergraduate Education and Internship Coordinator, started in early January, and will play a critical role in planning and managing a range of undergraduate-focused programs and activities, from bootcamps and energy immersion trips to building out the Institute's internship program.

Angus, who grew up in New Jersey, comes to Dartmouth from Wyoming, where he was working on his master's in natural science education at the University of Wyoming. As part of his graduate studies, he spent a year living in Grand Teton National Park, where the focus of his work was on experiential learning and community.

Angus is particularly excited about the opportunity his new role will give him to work with young adults who are eager to make an impact on climate and energy issues. "I had a lot of really valuable mentors as a student who helped me find my path, and I'm looking forward to helping Dartmouth students in the same way."

In his free time, Angus enjoys cooking – he says he makes a mean chili and has recently been experimenting with fermentation – as well as outdoor activities like hiking and skiing.

We're thrilled to have him aboard — welcome to Dartmouth and the Irving Institute, Angus!
