Irving Institute Supports Student Trip to Alaska's Inian Islands

The Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society helps create and grow energy expertise on campus by offering support in the form of mini-grants to students pursuing research, traveling to a conference, or other energy-related work. In June 2019, five undergraduate students from Dartmouth's Thayer School of Engineering and Associate Professor Doug Van Citters traveled to Alaska to install a hydroelectric system for the Inian Islands Institute.
