While we're often told about the increasing energy demand to power AI, there's another side to the story. In this podcast, Dartmouth alumna and entrepreneur Stina Brock '01, TH'02, explores a new energy frontier. She explains how AI can enable fast, affordable, and flexible energy deployment. Using AI to seamlessly integrate solar panels, electric vehicles, and other distributed resources into the grid, her company's approach could add significant electricity supply in months rather than years and potentially save U.S. energy consumers billions.
Stina Brock is the CEO of Derapi and a member of the Irving Institute Advisory Board.
Geoff Parker is the Faculty Director of the Irving Institute for Energy and Society and the Charles E. Hutchinson '68A Professor of Engineering Innovation at the Thayer School of Engineering.
