Madeleine Bothe is the Admissions and Recruitment Manager for the Master of Energy Transition (MET) program, offered through Dartmouth's Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies and organized by the Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society. With a background in climate-focused entrepreneurship and international program management, she is passionate about empowering and promoting the next generation of leaders in energy and sustainability.
With over 15 years of experience in postgraduate higher education, Madeleine has developed and managed global programs at esteemed institutions including the London School of Economics and Political Science, Imperial College London, and Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business. At Tuck, she launched and oversaw experiential learning initiatives through the Revers Center for Energy, Sustainability, and Innovation, as well as the Center for Business, Government & Society, fostering a vibrant energy community among students and alumni. At Imperial College, she contributed to the inaugural Climate-KIC educational summer school—a six-week Europe-wide program designed to equip postgraduate students with entrepreneurial skills to commercialize impactful climate solutions.
Her career emphasizes experiential learning—such as internships, independent projects, and thought leadership—aimed at cultivating future energy leaders who see energy and climate change as core elements of strategic decision-making across industries.
