Angelika Hofmann

Director of Research Programs

As the Director of Research Programs, Angie Hofmann works to catalyze, connect, and supervise research programs in energy- and climate-related disciplines for the Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society internally and externally to Dartmouth. Angie also advises administrative leadership on strategic initiatives in these fields and manages the Institute's faculty seed grant program. In addition, in her role, she aims to align Dartmouth's needs with the funding interests of donors to advance the Institute's priorities in education, scholarship, and research. Previously, Angie was Senior Associate Director and Interim Director for Corporate and Foundation Relations at Dartmouth, Strategic Projects and Communications Advisor to Yale University's Vice Provost for Research, and Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations for Science and International Initiatives in Yale's Office of Development. In these roles, she managed top university prospects, advised and aided in implementing science priorities, and played a key role in fundraising from leading international corporations and foundations.
