Application Period Opens for New Master of Energy Transition Program

Applications are open for Dartmouth's cutting-edge Master of Energy Transition program. Aspiring leaders can apply by the priority deadline of January 31, 2025, with the final deadline on March 1, 2025.

This innovative nine-month professional program is a collaboration between the Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society and the Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies. The MET is designed to empower students with the knowledge and skills needed to advance an affordable, reliable, and equitable clean energy transition.

A hallmark of the MET curriculum is its project-based learning approach, where students collaborate with practitioners on real-world projects. They will also have the unique opportunities to study on a campus actively undergoing decarbonization and be mentored by distinguished alumni from Dartmouth's extensive energy network.

Students will also hear from top executives and directors of leading organizations such as 3Degrees, Energy Growth Hub, Fervo Energy, Mawazo Institute, Solar Energy Industries Association, The NorthBridge Group, and successful clean tech entrepreneurs–all Dartmouth alumni–about how the MET addresses the critical need for future leaders equipped to navigate the intersection of technology, business, economics, science, and policy within energy systems.

Prospective students can learn more about this transformative program by visiting the MET website, or registering for online information sessions, which will be held December 16, 2024 and January 21, 2025.
