Now in its fifth year, the New Energy Summer Summit takes place July 26–29 at the Irving Institute. The Summit brings together early-career energy and climate scholars to increase their capacity to connect across disciplines and sectors to advance equitable and sustainable energy systems.

This year's cohort includes 31 participants, selected from more than 150 applications. Scholars come from all disciplines, including natural science, technology, humanities, art, health and medicine, social sciences, policy and law, and more.

Over the course of four days, the cohort will engage in a dynamic program of lightning talks, breakout groups, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities.
