The Master of Energy Transition (MET) degree program has an opening for a Teaching Assistant during the Spring 2026 term.

Teaching Assistant Position
Course: ENTR 170: Energy Systems Modeling
Term: Spring 2026
Hours: Up to 12 hours per week, including attending lectures as needed on Mondays and Wednesdays, 1:30-3:30pm
Course Overview
ENTR 170 introduces students in Dartmouth's Master of Energy Transition program to the use and evaluation of energy systems models for solving integrated technological, environmental, economic, and social problems. The course covers foundational models of energy system operations, planning, investment, markets, and technology adoption, while exploring fundamental modeling topics including uncertainty treatment, spatial and temporal scaling, and stakeholder preferences. Students engage with real-world case studies, guest lectures from industry experts, and hands-on modeling exercises using tools like Python and Excel.
