The Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society is excited to announce the second annual New Energy Summer Summit. The Summit brings early career energy researchers and scholars to the Dartmouth College campus in Hanover, NH, to help expand connections and collaborations among PhD students, postdocs, and assistant professors working across the energy and climate space.
The idea for the Summit grew out of the New Energy speaker series
, which was launched by the Irving Institute in spring 2020 to provide a platform for advanced PhD students, postdocs, and assistant professors to share their emerging work in energy and society during a time when travel was challenging. The inaugural Summit, in 2022, hosted 20 researchers from 17 institutions from around the world for three days of lightning talks, breakout groups, lectures, workshops, and networking.
