Energy Summer '22

A Summer Filled With Energy and Community!

The Irving Institute for Energy and Society will host a series of public and by-invitation events over the course of summer 2022 to celebrate the opening of our new home as a space to convene and expand the energy community at Dartmouth and beyond. Planning for the summer is still in progress, but some of the activities and events slated so far are listed below. Specific dates, details, and registration for public events to come!

May 2022

We'll kick things off with the grand opening celebration of the new Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society building, located on the West End of Dartmouth's campus in May. The celebration will include a showcase of student energy work and the second annual Dartmouth Energy Forum. More details to come.

June 2022

New Energy Scholars Summit: Our online New Energy series began in June 2020 as a way for early-career energy scholars to share research and build community during a time when public health restrictions made travel and public gatherings impossible. Our Summer '22 Summit will give past New Energy speakers and faculty from the many collaborating universities a chance to gather in person, build connections, and share updates on their work.
