Jessica Chen '21
Jess is an Environmental Studies major. She traveled to Appalachia with the 2018 Energy Immersion Trip to West Virginia, which sparked her interest in acid mine drainage mitigation. She worked with Professor Ulrike Wegst in Engineering on a follow up research project investigating how biomaterials could be used to improve water quality.

Jordan Swett '19
Jordan majored in Environmental Studies and minoring in Development Economics with a focus in Energy Systems. He is conducting a Senior Honors Thesis to study the viability of installing solar power in rural areas of South Africa. He was an intergral part of the launch of Dartmouth's undergraduate energy club, the Dartmouth Energy Alliance.
