Irving Institute for Energy and Society partners with the Revers Center for Energy at the Tuck School of Business, Thayer School of Engineering, and the Office of Sustainability to engage all members of the Dartmouth community in learning about and exploring how to evolve local, regional, and international energy systems.

The Revers Center for Energy’s mission is to inspire and shape tomorrow’s leaders in energy while engaging today’s energy community of scholars, executives, alumni, and students. We focus on the business complexities of energy in a multifaceted global economy, helping business students explore the challenges and develop the tools needed to tackle them. Starting with the fundamentals of the core MBA curriculum, the Revers Center delivers customized experiential learning to support student pathways in oil, gas, power generation, renewable energy, and climate/sustainability careers.

Thayer School of Engineering

Thayer School of Engineering is renowned for interdisciplinary teamwork, driving collaboration and discovery.  Energy technology is one of three areas of focus, representing a key component of the school’s planned expansion. Faculty and students at Thayer use their joint expertise in biochemical, chemical, electrical, and materials engineering—as well as in chemistry, microbiology, and physics—to study energy-related issues.
